Heating, Cooling  Climate Control


Heating, Cooling & Climate Control is a course designed to prepare students for entry-level employment as a technician in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry. Students successfully completing the program will be given the EPA 608 Refrigerant Certificate exam. This certification meets the Federal EPA requirements and is required for employment as a technician in the HVACR field.


Mr. Hanway

Mr. Hanway has over 25 years of experience in industry. He received an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration from Southeast Community College, Milford, NE. He has worked in several roles over his career from a Maintenance Mechanic to Facilities Manager of Maintenance. Mr. Hanway has also received his DESE Continous Career Education Certificate in 2015.
