Production Technologies

Production Technologies

This two-year program allows students to earn dual credit toward an Associate Degree and/or certification in a variety of areas related to the manufacturing industry (For example; CAD, CNC, HVAC, Industrial Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, Major Appliance Technology, Millwright, Welding and more). Cutting edge technology has changed the way products are manufactured in the United States and abroad. These changes have increased the need for specialized careers in the development and maintenance of the computers/machines that produce the goods we use on a daily basis. This program utilizes a variety of lab space and equipment to assist students in choosing the manufacturing career that is right for them. Internship opportunities during the 2nd semester of a student’s second year are available for the qualified candidate.

Mr. Sayre

Mr. Sayre joined the NCC staff in the fall of 2020. He has more than two decades of manufacturing/production experience in a wide range of fields. He's performed nearly every job from Apprentice Mechanic to Controls Engineer and eventually worked his way up to the plant Industrial Maintenance Manager. He studied Industrial Maintenance at MCC Business and Technology Center early in his career. The chances are good that if it has something to do with manufacturing or production technology, he's either done it or been part of a team working on it. He's also had the privilege to work with Oak Park High School Robotics as a mentor for the past several years. "I'm excited to join NCC," Sayre said. " I am looking forward to sharing my experience and knowledge in these high demand fields with the next generations."
